Queensday Nails
Tomorrow The Netherlands will celebrate the last Queensday. After this year it will be Kingday. It's the abdication of Queen Beatrix. She says goodbye to the country and Prince Willem Alexander will become the King of The Netherlands. Time to celebrate it is. I already bought an orange shirt and a little orange diadem with a gold colored crown. To complete the Queensday look I've painted my nails in typical dutch colors.

Awesome rainbow nails
Since i'm already busy talking about make up. i really have to show my new nailpolish. I usually wear red colors on my nails. But i could not resist al this sparkle. I like it so much that i take a look a my own nails all the time. So here it is : color 14 rainbow apparition
This nailpolish is from Bourjois new collection 1 second nailpolish with gel structure. The gel structure will help to follow the shape of your nails completly so it stays on nicer and better. What i also found out, because of the gelstructure it does not drip as fast from the brush as a usual nailpolish. It dries very quickly, you can put on a nohter layer soon.
On the picture i am wearing 3 layers of polish because the purple polish in this color is a semi transparant and with 3 layers you are completly sparkled. If you use this polish as a topcoat on a nother color i think you will just need one or maybe two layers.
I think i will buy some more of these. Since i really like the colors i saw in de store and also because of the behaviour of the nailpolish.

Nails Beauty night
Good looking nails are like your own business card. When I was young I did bite my nails. For that reason i started to use nailpolish. Something that turned out in an addiction to nailpolish. I have about 90+ bottles. I bought a new nail file. This one is a six in one. I also bought nail drops. This stuff helps to let the nails dry very quickly.
I take a lot of care about my nails. So here it is my nailpolish routine in pictures.
This is the file. Easy to use because of all the steps are written on the file. And you only hace to use on product to manicure your nails. It is from Essence and costs about € 2,00.
This are the quick dry drops. Also form Essnce and €1,99. Apply with the pipette on your painted nails.
For my nail routine I use the products in the picture. From left to right you see: the base coat(MAX from action, i tought it was 49 or 65 cents and is a good product), Catrice nailpolish, with a fab name: Marilyn and me, Quick dry top coat form Essence(it turned pink from my red nailpolishes), naildrops from Essence and the File from Essence.

Some tips for your nails
- when you use a nailbuffer file, you can use the shine side when you want to. the surface file only once in some what of 3 weeks.
- for the length of the nails, file them with a fine file and in one direction
- Use nailpolish on clean nails.
- always use a base coat. as you can see from this article, they don't have to cost much to be good ;).
- use two layers of polish
- use a top coat to seal the polish

Essence 50's girls reloaded
Essence has made a really cool limited edition line named 50's girls reloaded. the line includes: a face powder, eyeshadow, nailpolish, lipstick, eyeshadowbrush and eyepencils.
When I went to the drugstore, there was not much left so i took what i could take :)
This is what i bought:

eyeshadow with a really good pigment and nice colors. It's a duo eyeshadow with a mirror in the box

A bit of orange for queensday
Every year on the 30th of April we celebrate the birthday of the Dutch queen. Since orange is the color of Holland and our Royal family, I decided to go for some orange color on my nails.
This one is from HEMA. It is a pearly orange with tiny sparkles. I think it is a nice orange color that is also wearable on other days then queensday or the football worldcup :)
