a new view

First of all, i would like to thank my iiyama visionmaster 1400 17 inch CRT screen, for being my friend for the last ten years. We've spent a lot of time together. We made some beautiful websites, games, other projects. We also have  watched great movies and listed to good music. But now, time has come  for your retirement. I'm sorry to say but, you've worked enough to deserve that.

My new pal for the next couple of years will be this much bigger screen. Also an iiyama, 24 inch VA screen, so its still  familiar. A great screen to produce new websites in the future and also to do other stuff.

Pi pie day

Yesterday it was  the 14th of march, which  you also can write as 3.14 and means PI. What better to do on PI day than baking a pie. I made a PI pie. It's a lemon meringue pie.

King Winter has arrived

After a some winter months that looked and felt like autumn with a lot of rain and high temperatures even on Christmas, King winter has arrived on Monday. At daytime temperatures do not reach the above zero point. So it is freezing all day and night. At night minus 10. It will probably getting colder. I like the winter. I also do like the snow and ice and it looks so white an bright outside because the sun is shining. It looks like a real winter wonderland. All to do now is dress for this winter temperatures since here in Holland we are not quite used to weather like this.

Christmas 2012

This  Christmas did not really got any Christmas weather it's more like autumn. But hey you have to make the fun yourself.  On Christmas eve, I've made a Christmas diner for one:

On the second day of Christmas, my sister and nephew came over to  celebrate Christmas. We ate gourmet. That's what is  a big tradition in Holland because almost every family has  a gourmet or fondue at christmas.
