Tomorrow The Netherlands will celebrate the last Queensday. After this year it will be Kingday. It's the abdication of Queen Beatrix. She says goodbye to the country and Prince Willem Alexander will become the King of The Netherlands. Time to celebrate it is. I already bought an orange shirt and a little orange diadem with a gold colored crown. To complete the Queensday look I've painted my nails in typical dutch colors.
As base color i used an orange nail polish. The blue, red and white dots are created by using a toothpick(which now looks like the Dutch flag).

And pink it is!
Finally, my hair is pink. I wanted to color it pink for a long time but did not dare. Now i thought, well i just do it. The great result:
I've used Pretty Flamingo by Fudge. Fudge is a highly pigmented semi permanent haircolour. They have a big range of colors that will cost you about 15 euro. One tube contains 75 ml. If you have a darker shade of hair, my advice is to bleach the hair before you color it with a bright color like this one. The colored paint will stay in the hair longer and will be better visible.

When browsing on you tube I saw this really cool video that I must share here. It's a tutorial about applying your make up, from the 1940s.

Happy Easter
Easter, to celebrate that spring has started, well it's still winter, there was some snow last Friday night, but sitting inside, watching the sun feels somewhat like spring. Yesterday I cooked a delicious Easter diner. tonight i will enjoy the gourmet. Gourmetten is a Dutch tradition. You and your friends or family sit around the table with in the middle the grill plate. You can put ingredients like meat and vegetables on the plate or in your own little pan to make your own little dishes.
Back to yesterday, here's my Easter dinner
