We, the painters

Because Friday was going to be the last sunny  day to  be able to paint( Saturday was going to be full of rain) I had to finish the paint job . But this time, the paintjob went much quicker, thanks to Femke, who offered to help. Thank you for painting and a really good day and evening :)
We had such a great day while painting, chatting laughing and grocery shopping. The evening was  barbecue fun time.

here some pictures, yes you only see are backsides on the painting pictures, can't help that.

Me, the painter

Since it is finally summer here in Holland, I could start what really had to happen, painting the house. Phase one is done. All of the parts of the house that needed painting are now provided with primer.
Tomorrow, all of it(kitchen door and window, backroom window, stone shed door + window and the  gate door) gets the second layer of paiting. Here some action shots of me painting the window frame.

Essence Update: Ready for boarding limited edition nail polish review

When visiting the Drugstore yesterday, I also found  one other nail polish of the ready for boarding collection, 05 Destination Sunshine. Like the name almost already says, indeed it's a yellow one.

I needed two layers of the polish. Do not be to spare while putting a layer on your nail. You will get strokes in the polish. That looks ugly and you have to redo the nail.
I do like the  soft yellow color. Really a summer color.
Go to your drugstore where they sell Essence to get this lovely limited edition nail polish which will cost you 1,49 euro.

Essence Ready for boarding limited edition nail polish review

Essence has a new limited edition line, named: Ready for boarding. It contains: eye pencils, nail polish, eye shadow pallet, lip & cheek creme, a luggage label, hand & body wipes and a make up bag. Actually all you need when you go on holiday.

I did not buy the whole collection. I skipped the eye pencils because eye never use them. I also did not buy the luggage label.

From the nailpolishes I bought two bottles, the rest of them was already sold out. I've got 02 beauty on tour, which is a pink coral. The other one is 04 via airmail! a blue nailpolish. I also bought the peel off base coat 01 carry me home.

This is the base coat. It's created to peel it off, so you do not need any nail polishes remover to get your nail polish of your nails anymore. When I opened the bottle, saw the texture ans smelled it, it reminded me of the  glue we used at school when i was young. Maybe it is something like that, because you have to let it dry for ten minutes after you have put it on your nails.

The base coat getting dry.

The bottle. And as you can see on my nails. When the base coat is dry, it gets translucent

The coral one: 02 beauty on tour

The blue on: 04 via airmail!

Peeling of your nail polish while wearing the base coat, you can just peel it off. If it will not come off your fingers in once, just scratch with another nail on it.
Also, If this base coat is not available anymore, Essence included it in their new collection which will be available in September 2012.

Nailpolishes are 1,49euro each
Peel off base coat: 1,79 euro
